Pledge Manager Locking, Revised Delivery Date
about 1 month ago

Greetings, responsible pet owners!
First, the most important part: we are arranging to get Super Auto Pets Card Battle on boats! Huzzah! Because of this, we need to lock in orders. On March 11th, 2026, we will lock down orders in the Pledge Manager, meaning you will be unable to adjust your pledges or add anything else on to your order. You will still be able to access the pledge manager to change your address, but the orders will be finalized. If you haven't done so, please access the pledge manager (check your email) and complete it. Until you do, we are unable to ship your pledge, and that's no fun!
Next, let's talk delivery dates. We missed our chances at having everything wrapped up before the Lunar New Year. In China, everything shuts down for the New Year's celebration, and it takes a bit for production to restart. This means we're looking at fulfilling this campaign early May. We don't have an exact date yet, but that will change once the games are on boats, making their way to the various shipping hubs around the globe. As soon as we have that date, we'll share it.
We're sorry about the delay, but we're also confident that both we and the factory have taken the time needed to get you the best possible game we could make. We're terribly excited for you to get your copy in your hands and try it for the first time!
How will your game get to you? We partner with fulfillment companies around the globe, and ship them the games directly from the printer. This speeds up the delivery process and helps minimize costs. We ship out US orders ourselves, but our partners handle Canada, UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia/NZ. For regions where there are only a few orders, we figure them out on a case by case basis. It can be challenging to find the right company to ship one box to a person on a remote island!
That's all for this update. We'll send you another one soon to remind you about the pledge manager locking, and again once the games are loaded on boats and our dates become more firm.
Thank you!
Pre-Production Copies Are Here

After we submitted the print files to the factory, they began preparing for production. This is a time-consuming process requiring them to build manufacturing components to meet our specific needs. But that step has wrapped up and they have sent us a pre-production copy of each item available from our Kickstarter campaign: the Classic Pack, the Magic Pack, the Golden Pack, a neoprene mat, a set of metal tokens, and of course the Battle Box with copies of all its components inside! This step is where we carefully review each item to make sure it is correct, and it's also a fine time to test the quality of the components and ensure everything functions the way it should.
Naturally, we took pictures so you could get glimpse of what's coming!
This is the photo our manufacturer sent to us to let us know what's coming.
Here's everything they sent us. Glorious!
The neoprene mat.
Some of the metal tokens.
Our first peek inside the Battle Box.
Here are the cards for each set, sorted and sealed in plastic. All the extra bits can be seen in the plastic trays, and of course the mat sits off to the far right.
The box's innards. Each card well will hold your cards, separated by pack and tier.
The first thing we did was ensure each section could comfortably hold sleeved cards. They do!
And here's a Battle Box holding all of the cards, each fully sleeved. All tokens and dice are sitting nicely in their respective spaces in the tray.
We did find one small error as we reviewed each of the products.
The Battle Box had the right number of chipmunks and bulldogs, but when we checked the individual Golden Box, we found an extra chipmunk and one less bulldog. When an error like this occurs we first check the print files for an error (the print files were fine!), then we contact our printer. Mistakes like this are usually a simple packing error and nothing important, but we always want to check and be sure.
So that's another step toward getting Super Auto Pets Card Battle out to you, our backers! What next? Now we wait for our printer to give us revised estimates. The first phase of production will be printing, followed by the second phase of assembly. The date we're all watching for is Lunar New Year which falls on the 17th of February. During this important holiday, factories in China shut down, so our aim is get production wrapped before this date. We will keep you informed as we know more!

Hello, backers!
We had a lot of fun at PAX Unplugged where we showed off Super Auto Pets Card Battle to a constant stream of eager people. This game might be one of the most successful demo games we've ever made, due to its near universal ability to delight just about everyone who tries it out. Some of you stopped by to let us know you were backers, and we appreciated that very much.
The pledge manager is now available and you should have received an email with a link. This email is sent to the address on file with Kickstarter, so if you haven't received an email yet, check that email account including its junk folder. If your Kickstarter account uses your Apple ID, your email address is masked from third parties, and the link to the pledge manager may not have reached you. No problem! Send us an email to [email protected], give us your name and backer number, and we will get a link to the pledge manager out to you.
If you're new to Kickstarter you might be wondering what the pledge manager is for? The pledge manager verifies the pledge you made during the campaign, and verifies that you have already paid the funds pledged. This is also where you finally provide your shipping address, then pay for shipping.
For most of you, this is all you need to do. Some of you may wish to attach more add-ons to your order. If you choose to do so, the cost of them will be added to your shipping charges. But that's it really!
We will try to leave the pledge manager open for as long as possible, and will provide notice once we have settled on a date to lock orders and close it. You will have the ability to change your address for a longer period, since we know lots of things can change between now and when we finally ship your copy of Super Auto Pets Card Battle to your door!
Until next time!
