Super Auto Pets Card Battle has funded! Our sincere thanks to everyone who backed, making this dream a reality! Without you, this game wouldn't exist! We'd also like to thank our partners at Team Wood Games for letting us make a physical adaptation of their digital baby.

So what comes next? Production! Now we send our files to our printing partner who will begin preparing for production. This is a multi-step process which we will share with you as we move from step to step. The good news is, we've already begun this phase. You know those copies of the game you've seen in our videos or at conventions? Those are pre-production copies given to us by the printer to ensure everything is in order. The Classic Pack is ready, and now we're preparing to submit the Golden and Magic Pack.

So what do you need to do now? Not much! Kickstarter charges cards once a campaign is successfully funded. Later, we will launch the pledge manager and send an invite to your email address. In the pledge manager you will have the chance to finalize your pledges (you can select more add-ons if you want) and pay for shipping. We'll leave the pledge manager open for as long as we can so that you can take your time. We'll also announce when it will close and when cards will be charged so you aren't surprised.

Once production wraps, your pledges will be sent to distribution hubs around the world, as determined by your region, then mailed to the address you give us. We'll communicate to you during this time of course, so you know when to be on the lookout for Super Auto goodness.

Now that the funding period has ended for this campaign, you won't hear from us quite as often, but rest assured we will make an update each time we hit a milestone or have something fun to share. You can also message us here, or continue to post comments and questions as well.

We're about to hit our FINAL 24 HOURS! We want to thank the 2,180 backers who have helped Super Auto Pets Card Battle hit 840% funding, including the legion of people who are brand-new to crowdfunding! We see you and we appreciate you joining us! Because there are so many new faces, we'll send an update once the campaign concludes, describing detailed next steps so you know exactly what to expect.

Backing Super Auto Pets Card Battle not only ensures the game gets made, but is also the easiest and only guaranteed way to get the gorgeous Battle Box! While we'll likely have some for sale once backers have received their pledges, this will be the only print run of this lovely collector's box, so it won't be around for long!

You might have already noticed, but we popped a new gameplay video up on the main page. In it, Donald and Joe face off against each other using the Classic Pack. If you want to see the game in action, you'll find the video informative!

Finally, we wanted to let you know we just backed a game ourselves! The game is River Market, and it comes from our friends at Kids Table Board Gaming.

 River Market is the all new game in the Creature Comforts series. Players are forest critters moving around the market rondel and contributing to growing it by opening their own booths. They'll collect and exchange goods, open their own booths, and hire some helpers to assist them. This is by far the most accessible Creature Comforts game yet! We think it looks like fantastic fun and encourage you to check out their campaign and see for yourself!

Early Review, Magic Pack Preview

Hello backers!

To start with, we wanted to share an early review of Super Auto Pets Card Battle that popped up on Meeple Mountain. The review is for the Classic Pack, and much like proud parents, we wanted to share it with you. Click here to read it!

Today we are keeping the card previews rolling with an overview of the Magic Pack! This pack is full of fantastical creatures and equally outrageous abilities to explore. Let's dig in!

The new Mana resource is unique in that the Mana you collect stays with you until you spend it, even between rounds! Stock up on Mana with pets like Alchemedes, then cash it all in during later rounds with a pet like Fairy for a super powerful effect!

Another new addition to the Magic Pack are the Ailment cards. In a world of spooky, fire-breathing, slimy monstrosities, your pets are bound to become exposed to the elements or left quaking in fear. These Ailment cards will make pets more vulnerable to damage, or reduce their ability to deal damage themselves.

Some pets also prey upon pets afflicted by ailments, like the Vampire Bat. The more damage it can deal to exposed pets, the greater its power will be!

But have no fear! The almighty Unicorn can provide a powerful warding effect to save your pets from the influence of ailments.

Tier 6 is home to some truly fearsome monsters. The final round of battle is your last chance to spend your hard-earned Mana, so make sure to cash in with pets like Bakunawa and Sea Serpent!

Hello, backers!

The newest episode of the Plaid Hat Podcast came out today, and of course Super Auto Pets Card Battle is the focus! Watch Nick, Donald, and Joe talk about some behind-the-scenes facts regarding the game's development.

Today we are keeping the card previews rolling with an overview of the Golden Pack! This pack makes a perfect compliment to the Classic Pack, expanding on the Bee strategies of the Classic Pack and also introducing the Trumpet and Golden Retriever mechanic!
 

Trumpets are gained in battle from various pets. Once your deck is out of pets in battle, your Trumpets will convert into power, summoning a Golden Retriever with Power equal to the Trumpets spent! Good boy!

Here are a couple simple pets that can generate some Trumpets for you in battle.

There are some even stronger Trumpet pets that can really increase the amount of Trumpets you get in battle. Try stacking a bunch of Apples on your Highland Cow to create a truly fearsome Golden Retriever!
 

Some pets can also cash in on your Trumpets early to unlock super-powered abilities. The choice is yours to use these pets, or to simply save up your Trumpets for an even bigger Golden Retriever.
